Hey fam! I’m Karen Hemmes, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 7 years of experience, and I’m excited to introduce my practice, Nutrition Remix. You might know me as your favorite DJ in Arizona, DJ Hemmesphere, but I’ve got a whole other side to me, and it’s all about helping busy professionals (like YOU!) thrive with nutrition, hydration, and self-care.

Whether you’re a DJ, bartender, or just hustling hard, I’m here to help you find balance in your crazy, busy life and feel your best all DAY and NIGHT.

As a DJ myself, I understand the struggle of juggling late nights, gigs, and the hustle while trying to prioritize health and wellness. It’s not always easy, but I’ve learned how to balance nutrition and self-care to stay energized, focused, and perform at my best. Now, I’m here to help YOU do the same!

Professional Credentials

I graduated top of my class from Arizona State University’s Nutrition program and earned my RDN credential through rigorous education, a supervised practice internship, and passing the national registration examination. With over 6 years of hands-on experience working with diverse clients, I’ve developed specialized expertise in nutrition for high-stress, irregular-schedule lifestyles. My dual identity as both a performing DJ and credentialed dietitian means I don’t just understand the science of nutrition, I live the reality of implementing it in a demanding, unconventional career.​
